Architects of Air

We went with a friend to the Architects of Air at Discovery Green. It was neat, a big blow up exhibit with lots of lights, but true to form, the bug was not a fan of the new feeling of the floor on her feet and was mostly upset the entire time. Mostly I was hot, tho I'm sure this baby didn't help either :)

Duck feeding

We took the bug to the park to feed the ducks, all in all she was unimpressed and was much happier eating the food herself rather than giving it away.

She continued her love / recent obsession of pushing her stroller around as well, tho the dirt made it a bit more difficult.

She also continued her love of large drink cups at lunch and proceeded to drink an entire cup of water. Thank goodness for diapers.

New dress

I couldn't get her to stand still, but how cute is this dress Erik and Paulina brought the bug back from Ecuador?

Bluebonnets take 2

I borrowed a chair from a friend in hopes that the bug would cooperate if she didn't have to touch the grass. These ones turned out much better, though as you can see, she is for some reason scared of the grass and even while sitting in the chair, did not want her feet even close to the ground! Such a silly bug.

She **loves** peek-a-boo and will now even smile at strangers if they play with her. Hopefully this is a sign that she is getting over her shy phase and everyone can enjoy happy smiles!

Bluebonnnets

So we tried again to get some pics of the bug in the bluebonnets. It is crazy how much she's grown in the past year!

In attempts to learn from last years fiasco, we went early in the day before it got to hot. Alas, apparently she doesn't like the grass and wouldn't really smile, which is unfortunate considering she sang happily in the car the entire way to and home from the park. Oh well, maybe next year will be better. I'm not holding my breath though.

Pillow talk

The bug has taken to using her brother as a pillow. He eventually kicks her off, but its nice while it lasts.

Impromptu Petting Zoo

I don't know why or what for, but there was a random petting zoo and bouncy castle on 11th this afternoon so we stopped by for the bug to see the animals.
