Childrens Museum

I still haven't decided if I will renew our Childrens Museum pass, so until January 15th, we will be going a lot. Both of the kids really enjoy the mini town area, and it is a nice indoor activity. We'll see. We've been happy to have Dan and April and Cousin P down visiting also, so we decided a trip to the museum was just what we needed to get these kiddos out of the house and work off some post Christmas energy.

This girl was so excited that it started raining as we were leaving so she could use her umbrella. Simple pleasures.

More family meant more presents, and all the kids were able to open a few more gifts. Thank you so much Dan and April! They love it, and the ambulance will be living on the third floor :)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We had a successful and fun first Christmas in our new house. Both kids were old enough to understand a little more so it was a lot of fun. It's so much more exciting through the eyes of toddlers and they loved all the food, family and new toys. Thank you to everyone who came to visit and celebrated with us!

Sunday Christmas outfit.

She's worn this dress three years in a row now. Finally fits.

Christmas morning was a success, Santa brought a new train set and thanks to Grandmas, Grandpas and Aunts and Uncles both kids got way more toys than anyone needs. They love them all though and are very thankful. Every year I try to dial back but so far it's not worked... at all. Oh well, let them be little.

Opening one of his many new trucks. This kid is in heaven, vrooming around.

Frozen threw up on this kid for Christmas and she is thrilled. Lucky little Bug. After Christmas presents, Bug and I took Baby Doll on a walk to the park with her new carrier. She was so cute and so attentive to baby doll, making sure she had a good time and loved it.

We also made "snow" out of baking soda and conditioner. So much fun and messy.

Even Paul got into the Christmas Spirit and started a new trend with his "Reindeer-selfie".

Sick kiddos = inside time

Both kids were pretty sick for the 2nd week of December, so we spent a lot of time inside, playing, reading books and watching movies. It will be so nice once they are both healthy again!

Best Friends

Of course they fight. They pull each others hair. They steal each others toys. They cry. But mostly they love each other. They play together, they chase each other around the house laughing at the top of their lungs. They really are best friends, and it gets better every day. I hope they always love each other and are always the best of friends.
