My little artist. I'm loving painting at the children's museum lately. No mess for me!

They both love their aunt Kadi, even tho they may not show it in pics. Lol. 

Good grief she loves her dad. Wonderfully ridiculous. 

Riding the carousel at the zoo. 2 carousels in 2 days. Lucky little bug. 

She is so sweet. He had been crying then all of a sudden stopped. I turned around at a red light to see this. 

He loves the slides. 

And the stairs. 

The both love bath time and splashing. The floor is soaked every day. 

I forgot to post these, but this is what happens when the Bub needs to be held to nap. Thankfully she didn't blind herself. She was so proud. 

Cows and Horses

Each morning grandma and the Bug have been going on walks to get the mail and see the cows and horses just up the road. Today I tagged along and brought the Bub as well. The cows were very curious and came right upto say hello. Both kiddos were very excited and interested and the Bub may have even said "Cow" tho he may have just been mumbling. :)

The bug is still sporting her Rocky tape from her unfortunate hand slamming incident. I think it's getting a little better but honestly don't really know since she won't ever let me see it!

Almost one year!

There's no place like home

On the plane, they both were great, and only cried a little.

Both standing. Both trying to take off their shirts. Oh dear. 

Trying to escape. He was over the pictures by this point. 

Explaining to baby doll that she needed to smile for daddy. 

So telling of their personalities. She's obsessing over baby doll and he's trying to eat the suitcase. 

Potty training. Not going well. But her bum in panties is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen. 

They both love the rocking horse. 

Playing at the 'park' grandpa built for them before we came. It's been fun.

Baby boy has survived 11 months. He is nearing 23 pounds (22.7 per our scale) and crazy mobile. He hates to sit still and wants to be out and about. All. The. Time. He really enjoys playing with balls, especially with his sister and will roll it back and forth. Bath time is a highlight of our days as they both splash happily and scream in delight.

Latest likes / triumphs:

Climbing up and down stairs and on top of EVERYTHING.

Can say hello, da-da, mama, and dog
Says "Oooooh" if he gets hurt / stepped on by his sister 

Loves being chased and chasing

Bananas (and most food really)

Current dislikes:

When anyone leaves the room

Not being able to eat any food he sees
Not being able to crawl around... he does not like to lay still for these pictures.... At all.

I'm pretty sure he's teething again, because he has been ridiculously grumpy as of late. Poor sad boy, please get those teeth so we can have a happy baby once again!

Right after this picture she accidently pushed him over and he fell backwards. Mom fail...
