The Zoo and other shananigans
We love the zoo. Pumpkin really enjoys the animals (the monkeys and giraffes are her favorite) but LOVES the carousel. I think she would do just about anything to ride. I love seeing her so happy :) Bubba hasn't caught the carousel fever yet, so until then, I will continue to be the crazy lady holding a baby and spotting a toddler.
On his tippy toes with excitement. |
This monkey kept hitting the glass, and Bubba would hit it back. It was all fun until the monkey went crazy and banged the glass so hard. It scared the Bub so much that he fell over. Thank goodness I caught him!

Sunday Series
Our last day at the Bering chapel. I've been in this ward / building ever since I moved to Houston back in 2008. It's bittersweet, it will be so nice to have a house with space, but I will miss our ward.
Super heroes
Super hero masks from target. Best. Purchase. Ever. Thank you grandma for all the whooshing and rescuing. They are having so much fun.
Little Photog
The Bug is becoming quite the photographer. She loves to steal my phone and take pictures. Most times it ends up of the floor, her foot or a 100 pictures of her book, but every few 100 she gets some awesome ones. Lately she's taken to posing baby doll and lamby and telling them to "smile!" "oh you're so cute!" "we'll send this to grandma!" Apparently I take a lot of pictures :)
Bed time snuggles with these two are the best |

Cutie Potato
A few days ago I got Pumpkin dressed and told her she was such a little cutie patootie. She however, thought I said cutie potato, and now tells everyone how she is a cutie potato. I couldn't agree more. Love my little cutie potatoes.
Happy Independence Day!
We had such a great time this year for the 4th! This morning we walked to the neighborhood parade and party in the park. The Bug LOVED the firetrucks, and all the candy. Bubba enjoyed himself as well, but by the time we were coming home was so tired he fell asleep (which he NEVER does, the heat really took it out of him). I'm excited to keep this tradition up, and it's awesome that we are so close that we can walk! After the parades and naps, we enjoyed a traditional hot dog / brats BBQ (even tho it poured) complete with corn on the cob, pasta salad and popsicles. Happy Birthday America!
