Another day another park
We are nothing if not predictable. Since cousin P is visiting to see Grandma Karyn, I decided to take the kiddos to the park this morning. Thankfully Grandpa Jim came with us to help me wrangle all 3 kiddos. It was just good to get out of the house and let the kids run around. Oh, and that red climbing section of the park is going to give me a heart attack.

Playing at the park
Since it's almost starting to feel like Fall, we took a walk to the park today. I love that we live close enough that we can walk (though it always seems like a better idea when we are going than when we have to come home).
Twirling, or "doing Ballet" as she calls it.
Ride it girl!

Zoo Boo
Since we have a zoo membership we go weekly (sometimes more than once). Both kids love the animals and it is always a good excuse to get out of the house. Now that it is finally starting to cool down a bit I see even more Zoo in our future. This year we went to Zoo Boo, 3 times (because we just can't get enough apparently). The Zoo has trick-or-treating (tho not much on Fridays, when we went), games and pumpkins for the kids. Pumpkin really enjoyed the bounce house, and it reaffirmed my desire to have one for her birthday this year.

While the trick-or-treating was pretty lame, they did have a great pumpkin patch where the kids each got mini pumpkins and could paint them. We opted to not paint since it was not washable (both kids were not happy about our lack of painting and threw a huge fit... oh joy).
During one trip we also fed the ducks and (of course) rode the carousel with grandma. Bub really enjoys the carousel now too, and happily pets whatever animal he is riding.
