Zoo Boo

Since we have a zoo membership we go weekly (sometimes more than once). Both kids love the animals and it is always a good excuse to get out of the house. Now that it is finally starting to cool down a bit I see even more Zoo in our future. This year we went to Zoo Boo, 3 times (because we just can't get enough apparently). The Zoo has trick-or-treating (tho not much on Fridays, when we went), games and pumpkins for the kids. Pumpkin really enjoyed the bounce house, and it reaffirmed my desire to have one for her birthday this year.

Mid jump.
A lot of kids came fully decked out in costumes, but since it was still pretty hot I opted for tails and felt masks. Bub of course will not keep his on to save his life, but Pumpkin at least humored me and took a picture wearing hers (I put hers on a pair on sunglasses, so its a lot easier for her.

While the trick-or-treating was pretty lame, they did have a great pumpkin patch where the kids each got mini pumpkins and could paint them. We opted to not paint since it was not washable (both kids were not happy about our lack of painting and threw a huge fit... oh joy).

During one trip we also fed the ducks and (of course) rode the carousel with grandma. Bub really enjoys the carousel now too, and happily pets whatever animal he is riding.
