We had the opportunity to travel to South Dakota to remember Karyn and spend time with family. All of the sons and their families, along with Kathy and her kids, and Bill and Brad were able to come and spend the weekend together.
It was such a wonderful time being with family, some of these pictures with Bug and her great Grandma are my favorite of her. We love and miss Grandma Karyn so much. Bug was a bit confused, and kept calling aunt Kathy Grandma, but both kids loved them so much, and Bubba even spent a little bit of time in Ken and Kathy's bed while he was sleep walking one night lol.
Now she thinks she can crack eggs. Oh dear.
While in South Dakota, we spent an afternoon seeing the animals at Bear Country. It was so cold and windy, but the kids seemed to really enjoy it. Bug refused to wear anything but her skirt (per usual), and Bub continued to show his adoration for his Dad.
Cousin M was AMAZING with all the littles. All the kids adored her and she pretty much could not break free from a toddler all weekend.
We also spent some time at an old train station. Sadly it was already closed so we couldn't see inside the real train, but Bub was just as happy to be in the play train, so long as Dad was close.
Since everyone was there, we also took the opportunity to take some family pictures while we were all there. Of course Bub wanted nothing to do with it and screamed or threw rocks the entire time.
Before everyone left, Kathy let the kiddos throw all the extra eggs into the bushes. Coolest Aunt ever.
